CIVIL SERVANTS IN NIGER TOLD TO COLLECT THEIR PVC OR FACE SANCTIONS…NLC.

The Nigeria Labour Congress Niger State Chapter is considering a plan to stop workers in the state who have no permanent voters card (PVC) from collecting their monthly salary.
In an interview with our Nigeria Daily Post correspondent in Minna, the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Comrade Idris lakpene frown at a situation where a citizen of this country would failed to take his responsibility serious.
Comrade Lakpene then charged workers in the state to fully participate in politics, stressing that PVC would enable them to elect leaders that can better their working conditions and to bring meaningful development to the state.
He further disclosed that any Civil servants in the state who deliberately refuse to obtained his Personal voter’s card PVC shall have his salary stopped or face suspension as another way of punishment.
Similarly, The Chairman Nigeria Youth Council Niger State Chapter Abdullahi Muhammad Ishaq Kuta has called on the Youths in the state to ensure that they collect their PVC as election draw nearer.
According to him youth are the backbone of every societal development hence need to engage in politics for the betterment of the society and the state.
