NIGER STATE POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES 369 NEWLY PASSED OUT POLICE CONSTABLES
Niger State Police Command receives 369 newly passed out Police Constables today 4th January, 2023. The Constables are the indigenes of Niger State who were recruited during the 2021 recruitment of 10,000 Constables into the NPF and recently passed out on 29th December, 2022 from PTS Minna.
The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Ogundele J. Ayodeji, psc(+) while receiving the new Constables, urges them to take their job seriously and be professional in the line of duty. He admonishes them to utilize their wealth of knowledge acquired during the training exercise effectively and shun any act of corruption, incivility, indiscipline, drunkenness, lateness, absenteeism and other vices.
He reiterated on the directive of IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR that all the Constables will be deployed to their various LGAs, in line with the Community Policing Policy of the Federal Government.
Consequently, he immediately directs DPOs of various LGAs to personally report at State Police Headquarters and convey the Constables to their Divisions for immediate deployment accordingly.
The CP finally appreciates the Federal Government and the Inspector General of Police for this additional manpower, most especially as the 2023 General Election is nearby, which will boost the manpower strength of the Command.
