The Kebbi State Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Nasiru Idris Kaura Gwandu, has assured the people of the state of finding ways of improving more on the economy, Infrastructure, health, youth empowerment, Education, civil servants and security of the state.
The Governorship Candidate gave the assurance at the flag off of his campaign train at Yauri in the southern senatorial zone of the state.
He said, the southern part of the state will benefit more most especially on the Agriculture aspect and also alot will be done on the security challenges which needs to be tackled completly.
The Candidate also assured of providing farm implements to the people of the area considaring them as farmers to ease their farming activies.
He equally assured them that he will continue from where the present administration stopped most especially on road network, agriculture and others.
According to him, his administration if elected would give even distrubution of government programmes to the people of the state and as well as to be fare and just.
Kaura Gwandu who said that more sectors will be developed which is going to be across the 21 local government area of the State.
He then solicited for the votes of the people for the Presidential, Governor, Senate, House of Representatives and Assembly seats.
Also Speaking, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Chika Mallami has called on all the people of Kebbi State and Nigerian to vote for APC from top to down following the achievements recorded by the present administration in the country.
He added that the President Muhammad Buhari has bring different policy and programme that impacted on the people, such as Anchor Borrowers programme, empowering youth through small scale loans, constitution of federal roads and state roads.
In his remarks, the former Kebbi State Governor and Director General Governorship campaign for 2023 general election Alhaji Saidu Usman Dakingari has accused the PDP for using poverty and security to campaign against the APC.
He added that despite the global economy challenges Nigeria has survive and was able to feed themselves through promoting agriculture.
‘we thank this Government for showing people way on how to farm and feed, there is no poverty in Kebbi because of the rice revolution” he added.
“I wanted to retire from active politic but because of the APC Governorship candidate Dr Nasiru Idris Kaura Gwandu goodness and honesty he decided to remain and support is candidature” he said.
In his Speech, the Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu also seek more support in order for the APC to win general election.
He urge people to vote APC presidential candidate and all the APC candidates in the state and Nigeria at large.
