NCRI Badeggi gets New Director, promised to improve the welfare of Staff.

The New acting Director of National cereal research institute Badeggi Niger state, Dr, Emmanuel Abo has resumed duty with mix feelings in some quoters.
Nigeria Daily Post gathered that Dr Emmanuel takes over from Dr Aliyu Umar who ends his five year tenure from 2018 to date.
The sources revealed that the directives from the headquarters Abuja indicated that,Dr Emmanuel should take over the affairs of the research with immediate effect as the most senior director but does not go down well with few groups of people toying the line of sentiment.
It was also gathered that last week some group of people alleged to have been sponsored by ambitious individuals protesting threatening to lock the entrance of the gate to prevent the New acting Director access to his office.
Nigeria Daily Post findings revealed that the mindset of the protesters can be described as myopic dwelling on selfish modus operandi not knowing that the leadership of National cereal research institute belongs to all Nigeria irrespective of where you come from.
Our Reporter stumbled into a letter address to Dr,Myimmaora Emmanuel Abo dated 27 June 2023 , indicated that the tenure of Dr, Aliyu Umar as the Excecutive Director,CEO,NCRI, Badeggi Niger state expires on 2nd July 2023.
The letter further reads that “in line with the cercular number SGF/50/5.H/C.2/268 of 4th Dec 2017,as the most Senior officer of the research institute, the management of the federal ministry of Agriculture and rural development has approved your appointment as acting Executive Director/CEO/NCRI/ Badeggi Niger state,WEF 2nd July 2023.”
Accordingly, “You are to perform the duties attached in that office with the highest level of commitment as provided for in the condition of service of the federal research institute college of Agriculture and allied institutions and other extent rules”.
Sources among the staff of the NCRI Badeggi revealed that upon his resumption, the New acting Director,Dr Emmanuel Abo embark on series of meetings with the departmental heads assuaring them to live above expectations and mend fences.
He urged them to bury their differences,forget the past and forge ahead and to maintain peace so that the desired development will be achieved at the institute, promised to look into the welfare of the staff devoid of sentiments.
He was also quoted as saying to strive to provide a purposeful transperent leadership and participatory leadership that will guarantee service delivery in the institute.
Nigeria Daily Post Reporter seek the opinion of some of the union Executives who proved anonymity urged the New acting Director Dr Emmanuel Abo to use this opportunity to redeem his image by carrying everyone along and have a forgiven spirit.
