The Coalition of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Plateau State Chapter, wishes to formally pass a unanimous Vote of Confidence on Hon. Sani Abubakar Shilak and congratulate him on his successful emergence at the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) Primary Election for Mangu North.

The statement stressed that, this position is informed by our objective assessment of his leadership over the years and his consistent commitment to peace, unity, inclusive governance, and grassroots development. We have observed with admiration his dedication to serving the people with humility, accessibility, fairness, and an unwavering sense of responsibility.
Hon. Sani Abubakar Shilak has consistently demonstrated the rare ability to unite people across political, ethnic, and religious divides
Through dialogue, mutual respect, and community engagement, he has continued to promote peaceful coexistence, strengthen social cohesion, and encourage greater participation in the democratic process. These qualities have distinguished him as one of the emerging leaders whose style of leadership reflects the aspirations of the people.
Popularly known as the Golden Mandate, and honoured with the traditional titles of Tafidan Panyam and Fagacin Gindiri, Hon. Shilak has become a symbol of hope, integrity, and purposeful leadership. His commitment to empowering young people, supporting community development, and promoting good governance has earned him respect and admiration beyond political affiliations.

Accordingly, we reaffirm our total confidence in the leadership capacity, political maturity, and visionary disposition of Hon. Sani Abubakar Shilak.
We are confident that he possesses the experience, competence, and passion required to provide quality representation and attract meaningful development to the people of Mangu North.
We therefore call on all political actors, party members, supporters, and the good people of Mangu North to continue to embrace peace, unity, tolerance, and issue-based politics as preparations begin for the forthcoming elections.
The development of our communities must always take precedence over personal and partisan interests.
We congratulate Hon. Sani Abubakar Shilak on this significant achievement and wish him success in the task ahead.
We also assure him of our continued support for every initiative that promotes peace, good governance, accountability, and sustainable development in Mangu North and Plateau State at large.
Passing a vote of confidence on Hon Abubakar Sani Shilak and also congratulated him on his landslide victory in the just concluded primary election of APC in Mangu North State constituency ,the statement added.
