NUJ Congratulates Chairman of Nexter FM on His Birthday, Praises His Media Contributions

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Niger State Council, Dr. Abu Nmodu, has extended birthday wishes to the Chairman of Nexter FM Radio, Alhajiya Mohammed Nma Kolo.
In a congratulatory message issued by the NUJ State Secretary, Comrade Usman Chiji, Dr. Nmodu lauded the notable role of the celebrant in Niger State’s political development since Nigeria’s return to democracy in 1999, highlighting his appointment as Special Adviser on political affairs by two successive administrations.
Dr. Nmodu called Alhaji Nma Kolo a liberator for creating opportunities that have enabled thousands of citizens to become self-employed.
He praised Nma Kolo’s bravery in founding Nexter FM Minna, a station that not only enriches the broadcasting industry but also offers a platform for citizens to express their opinions on societal issues.
Dr. Nmodu noted that the conferral of the traditional title of Jawon Minna on the celebrant by the Emir of Minna, Doctor Umar Faruk Bahago, exemplifies his strong dedication to the development of the Emirate and Niger State at large. He assured that NUJ will sustain its partnership with Nexter FM to enhance effective information dissemination within the state, especially in this digital broadcasting age.
He then prayed for the Almighty to grant the celebrant many more years in good health so he can continue serving God and humanity.
