North Central APC Support Group Council Reinforces Alliance with Party Leadership in Abuja

In a strategic move to strengthen cooperation and enhance party unity, officials of the North Central APC Support Group Council, led by Deputy Director General Alhaji Lameen Aliyu, visited the All Progressives Congress (APC) national secretariat in Abuja for advocacy and engagement.
The delegation was warmly received by the party’s National Chairman, Prof. Nantawe Goshwe Yilwatda, who commended the support groups for their structured and coordinated organization.
During the discussion, the chairman assured the council of the party’s intention to involve support groups in upcoming programs and activities, stating that the consolidation of various support groups could significantly boost APC’s grassroots mobilization and outreach efforts.
He expressed gratitude for the council’s efforts to unify support groups across the North Central zone within a clear framework, emphasizing that such initiatives are vital for the party’s growth and electoral achievements.
As part of the visit, the council members presented the National Chairman and other officials with branded mufflers, face caps, and commemorative souvenirs as tokens of solidarity.
Alhaji Lameen Aliyu explained that the visit aimed to formally introduce the council to the party’s national leadership and to share insights into its goals, operational structure, membership distribution, and strategic vision.
He noted that the council has been expanding its influence throughout the North Central region, serving as a rallying point for loyal supporters and mobilizers.
Additionally, he highlighted challenges such as the absence of a rewards system for dedicated members and lack of recognition from party structures at various levels.
Addressing these issues promptly is essential for maintaining morale, strengthening commitment, and encouraging greater grassroots participation, all of which are crucial for the party’s success.
