Christ’s resurrection symbolizes Nigeria’s ascent from adversity to glory.
By IBRAHIM SALIHU.
As Christians across Nigeria and around the world celebrate Easter, Pastor Oluwaranti Omomajemu of Christ the Apostolic Church in Gbeganu, Minna, Niger State, called on Nigerians to embrace the virtues of sacrifice and forgiveness exemplified by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Oluwarantti Omomajemu reflected on the profound significance of the season, describing Easter as a divine testament that no night endures forever and that, after every crucifixion, a glorious resurrection follows.
He emphasized that Easter is not merely a festival but a spiritual declaration that darkness does not have the final say. As Christ triumphed on the day of His resurrection,
Pastor Oluwarantti urged Nigerians to demonstrate love to one another, particularly to the less privileged, the bereaved, and the displaced.
He noted that the true meaning of Easter lies in selfless giving and community solidarity, feeding the hungry and extending aid to neighbors in distress exemplify the gospel in action an outlook Nigeria must build upon.
