APC/Renewed Hope Support Group Praises Party’s Successful Convention and Builds Political Alliances
The APC/Renewed Hope Support Group Council, North Central Zone, praised the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its successful and peaceful national convention held in Minna, Niger State. The event focused on party unity, leadership renewal, and national development.
At a press conference at the BSO Complex, Deputy Director General Alhaji Lameen Aliyu highlighted the convention’s role in showing the party’s commitment to democratic principles and strengthening internal processes. He commended the mature conduct of the event, noting it demonstrates APC’s readiness to build on electoral success.
Aliyu expressed confidence in the newly elected National Executives, pledging unwavering support from members across the North Central Zone to mobilize grassroots backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The group aligned itself with Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s development vision, emphasizing the importance of the “New Niger Development Agenda” as a way to achieve real democratic benefits. They stressed the need for collaboration among political stakeholders at all levels to promote sustainable growth.
Describing the Renewed Hope Agenda as a call for national renewal, Aliyu urged Nigerians to actively participate in nation-building efforts, emphasizing unity, loyalty, and governance reforms as keys to meaningful progress.
The Council called for ongoing prayers and support for leaders at all levels, highlighting the importance of wisdom and visionary leadership to overcome current challenges. They appealed to stakeholders to foster peace, stability, and progress.
Reaffirming its commitment, the group pledged to continue mobilizing citizens, strengthening party structures, and contributing to Nigeria’s development, believing in the transformative power of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a related development, a coalition aligned with the movement raised concerns over operational challenges, especially funding shortages and the lack of incentive systems.
At a recent strategic meetings, members acknowledged that despite growing influence, limited financial resources threaten the coalition’s sustainability.
To address these issues, the coalition appointed Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago and former Nasarawa State Governor Tanko Al-Makura as Patron and Grand Patron, respectively. These key appointments aim to leverage their influence, improve support and coordination, and boost the coalition’s capacity to promote the Renewed Hope Agenda.
