OUTCOME OF ENGAGEMENT MEETING BETWEEN NUT NIGER STATE WING AND MRL PUBLIC SECTOR CONSULTANT TEAM ON THE ONGOING EPMIS REGISTRATION EXERCISE

The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Niger State Wing, wishes to inform all teachers, and non-teaching staff that an engagement meeting was held today, Tuesday 24th March, 2026, between officials of the NUT Niger State Wing and the MRL Public Sector Consultant team regarding the ongoing Education Personnel Management Information System (EPMIS) registration exercise.

The meeting reviewed the progress recorded so far, as well as the challenges being encountered by teachers and non-teaching staff across the State, with a view to ensuring the successful completion of the exercise.

At the end of the meeting, the following key resolutions and clarifications were made:

1.NIN as a Core Requirement:

The National Identification Number (NIN) remains a critical requirement for the EPMIS registration exercise, as it is used for the validation and authorization of staff information on the platform.

2. For “NIN Service is Not Available”* *Prompt:

Teachers and non-teaching staff who receive the prompt “NIN service is not available” during registration are advised not to attempt the process a second time immediately. Instead, such affected persons should contact the designated support line 09136444110 for proper guidance and assistance.

3. *Other NIN-Related Challenges:*

Teachers and non-teaching staff facing other NIN-related challenges are advised to download the recommended application: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninauth.mobile for further guidance and resolution.

4. *Correction of NIN Discrepancies:*

Any teacher or non-teaching staff with discrepancies in name(s) or date of birth on their NIN records is strongly advised to visit the nearest National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) office for correction before proceeding with registration.

5. Complaints After Registration:

Those who have completed registration but still have complaints or issues are advised to fill out the designated complaint form for necessary action.
Complaint Form Link: https://forms.office.com/e/QPXXMMjG7g

6. Teachers Without Android Phones :

Teachers and non-teaching staff who do not have Android phones are advised to visit any nearby cyber café or business centre to complete their registration without delay.

7. Wrong School Selected During Registration:

Teachers who mistakenly registered using a school other than their correct/original school are directed to send their personal details along with the correct school information to the designated contact: 07063775153 for correction.

8. Final Deadline for Registration:

The final deadline for the ongoing EPMIS registration exercise is *now Tuesday, 31st March, 2026.

The Union wishes to emphasize that this is the final deadline, and all teachers and non-teaching staff are strongly advised to complete their registration on or before the stated date, as failure to comply may attract serious consequences.

The NUT Niger State Wing therefore calls on all Branch leadership to intensify mobilization and ensure that all members within their respective jurisdictions take advantage of the available window to complete the exercise.

Signed:

Comrade Usman Idris
