President Tinubu Nominates Taiwo Oyedele as Minister of State for Finance

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially nominated Taiwo Oyedele for the position of Minister of State for Finance, succeeding Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.

Dr. Uzoka-Anite will now serve as Minister of State at the Ministry of Budget and National Planning.

President Bola Tinubu forwarded Oyedele’s nomination to the Senate for confirmation via a formal letter to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Prior to his nomination as a minister, Oyedele was known for his role as the Chair of the Tax Reform Committee.

He is also a professor at Babcock University in Ogun State and a visiting scholar at Lagos Business School.
