The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship Candidate for Lavun local government, Alhaji Muhammad Alfa-Maali, has donated 100 cartons of chalk worth five hundred thousand naira to primary schools across the local government area.
Presenting the items, Alfa-Maali said the gesture was part of his commitment to promoting quality education and supporting learning at the grassroots.
He described education as the “lifewire of any society,” stressing that no community could achieve meaningful development without prioritising the education sector.

According to Alfa-Maali, the donation represents his modest contribution toward improving teaching and learning conditions in public schools within the area.
Receiving the items on behalf of the schools, the Education Secretary, (ES) Alhaji Jibril Hassan Abubakar commended Maali for the gesture and assured that the materials would be distributed equitably to all primary schools in the local government.
The ES urged other well-meaning individuals to emulate Maali’s example by supporting education development in their communities.
