Don’t relent in serving God, Christians told

Christians have been told not to relent in serving God by inculcating the habit of giving to strengthen the weaker ones in the society to enhance the blessings of God while on earth.
The guest preacher Evangelist Chukwendu Okezie,who is the Arch Diocesan Coordinator of Evangelism, ( Arch Diocese of Anuja),stated this at the 1st Thanksgiving of the Methodist Church of Nigeria Diocese of Niger State and fund raising for the Building of a Chapel in Tunga held at the Cathedral of the Diocese on Sunday.said for the well-being and prosperity God is the answer
Evangelist Chukwendu,said God never abandons who serves him,, stated that people should not look at whatever they do in the name of God as a waist, but a blessing, adding that people should not give up in serving God as he has rewards in abundance.
The Evangelist who focuses his sermon from the book of John 11 verses 1- 3 said the love of God is unconditional,”when you obey God you will receive in many folds his blessings.as God never disappoint.
In a chat shortly after his sermon, Evangelist Chukwendu reenphasised that giving is the foundation of Christianity, and Christians that are well to do in the society should strengthen the weaker ones in the society.
According to him Christianity preaches to love all, as it is stated in the scripture,”that for God so loved the world and gave his only begotten son to deliver the world from all manner of set backs.
Earlier the Bishop of the Diocese,RT REV Basil Pozonlin in his address said “this gathering is unique service to praise and give thanks to God for his faithfulness, mercies and protection as we celebrate the existence of the Diocese and fund raising for the building of a Chapel in Minna”.
The Bishop who was full of joy dancing to the glory of God to be part of the historic events to celebrate the 1st Diocesan harvest and thanked the Chairman of the harvest and Evangelist Okezie the guest preacher who re-awake the spirit of members in serving God.
