Celebrating the New Islamic Year: A Message from the Niger State Wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers
Comrade Adamu Mohahmmed Akayago Dokaji Tagina, State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Niger State Wing, extends heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Muslim faithful, especially to the members of the Union and the Organized Labour (NLC, TUC) in Niger State, as well as to our dedicated and proactive Governor, Mohammmed Umaru Bago.
The beginning of Muharram offers us an opportunity for deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and a commitment to peace and collaboration for the betterment of our communities.
As educators, we see this time as a chance to strengthen our bonds and foster an environment dedicated to hard work and peaceful coexistence, enhancing the overall growth and development of Niger State.
We pray that Muharram 1447AH brings peace, progress, blessings, and unity to us all. As we look ahead, we express our hopes for a successful and seamless State Delegate Congress scheduled for July 2025 in Bida, which we trust will support the sustainable continuity of our collective responsibilities and dedicated service to our esteemed Union.
As advocates for progress, inclusivity, and results-driven programs, we are committed to working towards the overall growth and development of the NUT Niger State Wing. Let us begin this new Islamic year with faith, love, and prayers for a brighter future.
Once again, we wish everyone a joyful and prosperous Islamic New Year, Muharram 1447AH (June 2025).
Long live the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT Niger State Wing.
Long live Organized Labour (NLC, TUC) in Niger State.
Long live Niger State and Nigeria.
Teachers are great.
Signed,
Comrade Adamu Mohahmmed Akayago Dokaji Tagina
