SSG Leads Govt. delegation to the funeral for late Alhaji Yakubu Salau, former CLG, Chairman.
The Secretary to the Niger State Government (SSG), Alh. Abubakar Usman has led the State Government delegation to the Islamic funeral of late former Council Chairman, Chanchaga Local Government, Alh. Yakubu Sallau.
The funeral, which was attended by many sympathisers, was held at the premises of the Palace of the Emir of Minna, Alh. Umar Faruk Bahago and was led by the Deputy Chief Imam of Minna, Mallam Isah Jibril.
The SSG and his team thereafter paid a condolence visit to the Emir of Minna where he commiserated with the Emirate and the family of the deceased by encouraging them to take solace in Allah who has the Ultimate power on everyone.
Among the State Government delegation where the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Alh. Nma Kolo and the Commissioner for Nomadic and Pastoral Affairs, Alh. Umar Sanda Rebe.
The late former Chanchaga Local Government Council Chairman, Alh. Yakubu Sallau died at the age of 62 after a protracted illness.
He is survived by two wives, 13 children and five grandchildren.
