GOVERNOR BAGO EMPHASIZES UNITY AMONG APC MEMBERS IN NIGER STATE.

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has highlighted the importance of unity among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State.
He made this statement during a special interactive session with federal constituencies in the Niger East Senatorial District.
The governor stressed that all members must come together to ensure the party maintains its dominance in the state.
He specifically noted that the upcoming Munya by-election for the state assembly this Saturday will be a critical test for the party ahead of the local council elections scheduled for November 2025.
Governor Bago showcased his administration’s achievements across various sectors and promised to deliver even more to the people of the Senatorial District to ensure continued prosperity, despite any challenges that may arise.
He commended Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, who represents Niger East, for providing scholarships to 100 youths for medical-related studies abroad. Bago also announced that Senator Musa has secured 30 slots for foreign scholarships for the Niger State government, to be shared among the Niger South and Niger North Senatorial Districts.
Deputy Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba urged APC members not to underestimate their opponents. He encouraged them to intensify their efforts and work diligently to secure victories for the party.
Senator Mohammed Sani Musa praised Governor Bago as a remarkable leader, noting that his achievements set him apart from other leaders in Northern Nigeria.
He called for continued support for the governor to achieve even greater success in the coming years.
Other speakers, including members of the House of Representatives and state lawmakers from the Niger East Senatorial District, commended Governor Bago for fostering relative peace in the region. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting his administration for rapid growth and development.
Additionally, Niger State APC Chairman Aminu Musa Bobi, APC Zone B Chairman Walijoh Danladi Ahijo, and other prominent APC members expressed their appreciation for the transformative changes Bago’s administration has brought to the state.
They urged party members to avoid any actions that could undermine the party and to work toward the success of the APC in all upcoming elections.
All APC stakeholders from the federal constituencies of the Niger East Senatorial District, which includes Shiroro/Rafi/Munya, Suleja/Tafa/Gurara, Bosso/Paikoro, and Chanchaga Federal Constituencies, unanimously endorsed Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago as the sole candidate for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
