Niger State Scholarship Board Expresses Condolences for Abdulwahab Paiko’s Passing and Urges Students to Remain Vigilant
The Niger State Scholarship Board extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Abdulwahab Abubakar Paiko, a 300 level student in the Chemistry Department at Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.
The management and staff also wish to convey their sympathies to the university administration, staff, students, the Students’ Union Government (SUG), the National Association of Niger State Students (NANNIS) National Headquarters, NANS Zone ‘C’, and the larger Lapai community during this difficult time.
The tragic and untimely loss of Abdulwahab is deeply felt across Niger State. He was a bright young man with immense potential, and his passing represents a significant loss to both the community and the future of our state.
We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings and grants him eternal peace in Aljannatul Firdaus.
The Niger State Scholarship Board urges all students, both within the state and beyond, to remain calm and exercise caution.
We recommend that every student adhere to basic safety protocols: keep emergency contacts readily available, do not allow entry to unfamiliar individuals, stay aware of your surroundings, and trust your instincts.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory inspire us all to support and protect one another.
