Police Raid Suspected Ritual Site Linked to Cleric, Recovered Human Skull.

The Enugu State police command has conducted a significant raid, uncovering a suspected ritual site associated with Prophet Chinedu Ezedike, a cleric alleged to be involved in the barbaric murder of four siblings in the Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.
The operation, led by the Divisional Police Officer of Igbo-Eze South and supported by various security agencies, targeted an uncompleted church building, referred to as Synagogue, located at Abile Hill, Isi-Agu, Ibagwa-Aka.
During the raid, officers recovered a human skull and a ritual staff, raising serious concerns and confirming public suspicions surrounding the cleric.
This property, among several others belonging to Ezedike, is currently under investigation following widespread outrage over the recent tragic killings of four children in the locality.
The state’s response included the demolition of the primary site linked to the alleged crimes.
Barr. Ferdinand Ukwueze, Chairman of Igbo-Eze South LGA, who participated in the operation, shared the findings in a Facebook post. “Two days ago, while combing locations reasonably suspected to be camps for criminal activities, we visited a site at Abile Hill, Isi-Agu, Ibagwa-Aka. To our dismay, a human skull and ritual staff were discovered at the so-called synagogue under construction by Prophet Chinedu Ezedike,” he disclosed.
He added that the recovered items had been handed over to the police for further investigation, emphasizing the importance of the discovery in supporting the troubling allegations against Ezedike.
Ukwueze reaffirmed the determination of local authorities to uncover hidden sites of criminal activity, ensuring community safety.
He acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Nigeria Police, the Department of State Services (DSS), military personnel, local Neighbourhood Watch operatives, Forest Guards, and vigilant community members in this ongoing mission.
“Under the administration of His Excellency, Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, there will be no hiding place for criminals. We are committed to building a just society where our people can pursue their dreams without fear of violence or intimidation,” Ukwueze stated.
