Civil Defence Board Alerts Public About Fraudulent Recruitment Announcements.

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a warning to the public regarding misleading online recruitment announcements. In a statement from Retired Major General AM Jibrin, Secretary of the Board, it was made clear that these publications are not official and should be disregarded.
The Board reiterated that legitimate recruitment information for the Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence will be released through at least two national newspapers and their official website.
General Jibrin urged the public to remain vigilant against fraudulent recruitment schemes and individuals who might solicit payments for job opportunities.
He emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely free, and any interactions with unauthorized sources come with significant risks.
