Niger State House of Assembly Committee Conducts Oversight Visit to Mokwa, Edati, Lavun LGA.

The Niger State House of Assembly Standing Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, under the leadership of Hon. Dr. Alhaji Bello Bako, completed its oversight phase with a visit to Mokwa, Edati, and Lavun Local Government Areas.This initiative aims to monitor the activities of local government councils, ensuring transparency and accountability in governance.
During the visit, the committee praised Hon. Isah Mohammed, Chairman of Lavun Local Government Council, for his outstanding leadership and dedication to grassroots development. His commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and effective record-keeping received special commendation.
Committee members encouraged the council chairmen to prioritize projects that would yield significant benefits for their communities, thereby enhancing the welfare and prosperity of the citizens.
