Niger government receives Gurara falls Master plan, Promises to Commence Work.

The Niger State Government has received the master plan for the Gurara Waterfalls project. Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, known as the “Farmer Governor,” received the master plan from the lead architect of the project, Elise Van Gass-Vivers, at the Niger State liaison office in Abuja.
Governor Bago emphasized that tourism can bring prosperity and tranquility to society, and he believes it should not be underestimated.
He assured that the project will commence soon and will have a timeline for completion, as all aspects of the master plan align with his administration’s vision.
He expressed gratitude to the lead architect and her team for their excellent work.
Earlier, Elise Van Gass-Vivers mentioned that the development of the master plan had started during the previous administration.
She highlighted several components of the master plan, which include facilities such as hotels, a wildlife park, a conference center, a golf course, a 100-hectare area designated for a university, farmlands, staff quarters, and a shea butter plant.
She noted that these developments would significantly boost revenue generation for the state.
Van Gass-Vivers expressed optimism that the multi-faceted project will continue to progress under the current administration.
