Niger State House of Assembly Speaker Commends Member for Empowering 716 Youths

The Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Barr. Abdulmalik Mohammed Sarkin-Daji, recently praised Hon. Sani Umar Black, the Member representing Kontagora 1 Constituency, for sponsoring a small business empowerment program for 716 youths.
The program took place at the Government Lodge in Kontagora, Niger State, where each beneficiary received ₦100,000 to support their businesses.
The Speaker commended Hon. Sani Umar Black’s initiative, highlighting its alignment with the state government’s priority on youth empowerment.
He also expressed gratitude to the Farmer Governor of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago, for his administration’s focus on youth empowerment and people-centered policies.
Additionally, the Speaker personally donated ₦5,000 to each of the 716 beneficiaries, demonstrating his support for the empowerment program.
The event underscored the importance of legislative intervention in promoting economic development and youth empowerment.
During the event, the Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba, who represented the Farmer Governor, assured the beneficiaries of the state government’s commitment to people-centered policies and programs.
He emphasized that youth empowerment is crucial for addressing unemployment, restiveness, and economic challenges.
In his remarks, Hon. Sani Umar Black expressed gratitude to the Farmer Governor of Niger State, Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago, as well as the Speaker and members of the Niger State House of Assembly, for their support and cooperation in fostering an environment for legislative intervention projects and programs.
He stated that youth empowerment is the foundation for economic development.
