The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Niger State, Comrade Adamu Mohahmmed Akayago DOKAJI TEGINA, extends heartfelt congratulations to the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Niger State, and President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Comrade Idress Abdulkareem Lafene, on the confirmation of his traditional title as the First DAN-ADALAN KONTAGORA by HRH Alh. Mohammad Barau Muazu II, Sarkin Sudan of Kontagora.
Comrade Akayago recognizes the significant importance of this traditional title for Comrade Idress Lafene.
His selfless dedication, hard work, commitment, and struggle for the growth and development of the unions and workers in the state are highly commendable.
On behalf of all State Wing Executive Council Members of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Akayago expresses satisfaction with the proactive leadership style and the achievements recognized by all affiliates of organized labor in the state.
This includes the recent approvals and implementations of the Teachers’ Salary Structure (TSS), the new minimum wage, payments of backlogs of personal gratuity, leave grants, wage awards, and a robust working synergy among the entire unions and workers in the state.
The State Chairman of NUT, Comrade Adamu Mohahmmed Akayago, encourages the newly titled Dan Adalan Kontagora, Comrade Lafene, to continue his selfless service to humanity and his commitment to the welfare of workers in the state.
