WOSA National President, ex- SSG laud Tinubu for appointing Mohammed as DG, NIA

The National President of Wushishi Old Students Association (WOSA), Dr. Zubairu Ibrahim Tswachi (Chigari Lafiagi), has hailed President Bola Tinubu for appointing Amb.Mohammed Mohammed as new new Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA)

In his congratulatory message to the new Director General of NIA, Dr. Tswachi said Mohammed has demonstrated an exceptional taste for transparency, and passion for equity.

Tswachi appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding Mohammed Mohammed worthy of this all-important national assignment.

He also appreciated Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazak, Sadauki Lafiagi and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum for his unwavering support.

The statement said, ” The National President of WOSA, who is also the National Vice President 1 of Lafiagi Descendants Development Union (LADDU), the apex socio-cultural organization of Lafiagi Emirate expressed confidence that the NIA Boss will remain committed to his principles of transparency, accountability, and equity, which Nigeria is yearning for.

” On behalf of WOSA and LADDU, I want to use this opportunity to extend our heartfelt felicitations to you as a beacon of hope for our dear nation”, the statement added.

The National President wished the DG the best in his new assignment

In a related development, the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Wushishi Old Students Association and Pro-Chancellor, Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna, Prof. Mohammed Kuta Yahaya and Secretary, Presidential Livestock Reforms Committee revealed that the appointment of Amb. Mohammed Mohammed as the new Director General of the National Intelligence Agency was a product of hard work, commitment, dedication and outstanding professionalism.

Yahaya, who was the former Secretary to the Government of Niger State, expressed optimism that under the leadership of the new DG, NIA would be taken to greater levels of proficiency, and responsiveness in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities.
