Farmer Gov Bago Hails Pres. Tinubu on appointing Nigerlite as member NAFCON Board.
Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Prof. Muhammad Umaru Ndagi as a member of the Board and Management Team of the National Hajj Commission NAHCON to represent the North Central Zone of the Country.
The Farmer Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, described the appointment as deserving and commendable.
He said the appointment of a Nigerlite as a Zonal representative is coming at a time when the State Government is also making a deliberate effort to ensure that intending Pilgrims in the State have a smooth, pleasant and successful Pilgrimage.
While appreciating the President for finding a Nigerlite worthy of the appointment, assured him that Prof. Ndagi would be a good representative of the State and the North Central Zone.
He further stated that the appointment of Prof. Ndagi is putting a round peg in a round hole, and he will deploy his expertise to effectively contribute his quota in making the Commission more efficient in line with the renewed hope agenda of the President.
The Farmer Governor called on Prof. Ndagi to uphold his dignity and integrity as well as make the State proud.
It was reported yesterday that the President has approved the appointments of a 11-member Board and Management Team of NAHCON including Prof. Ndagi as the Zonal representative of North Central, pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
