Sen. Peter Ndalikali Jiya dedicates trebble victories to God, commits to more diligent service

Mr Peter Ndalikali Jiya, Senator representing Niger South Senatorial District, on the platform of PDP has dedicated his victories at polls, at the Election Tribunal and at the Court of Appeal to the Almighty God, who designed and work it all out to His own glory and praise.
He also promised cooperate and collaborate with the State Government and all elected and appointed officials for the common good of his constituents, the State and the Nation in general.
Sen. Jiya was reacting to his victory at the Court of Appeal on Friday, in a personal statement he tagged, “Note of Appreciation.”
He said, “Where do I start from? What do I say and how do I say it?
First, to God Almighty, I give thanks & praise for doing what only He’s capable of.
“That despite mountainous challenges, God watered & caused to fruition a little dream.
“Thank you, God for the human resources both visible & invisible, high & low used at each stage until now. I bow in awe of you and worship your Majesty, O God.
The elated lawmaker also extolled the invaluable support and tremendous goodwill of his party, the PDP when he stated;
“The PDP Family, from the State Party Chairman & Exco, all the Chairs of the 8LGAs in Niger South, the Elders of the party in Niger State in the persons of Prof.
Jerry A. Gana, Haske Nupe and a former Minister of Information, His Excellency, Dr Muazu Babangida Aliyu, former Governor of Niger State.
“Others are: Sen. Zaynab Kure, our Gubernatorial Candidate, Hon. Isah Liman Kantigi, Alh Ndagi Abdullahi Aliyu Mni, Dr Jonathan Jiya Mni, His Excellency, Dr Shem Nuhu Zagbayi, former Deputy Governor, Hon Alh Kwatu and Hon. Minister Achituwo, Amb Majanbu.

Sen. Jiya further applauded the support of Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago, Governor of the State for his calm disposition despite belonging to a different political party.
He said,” I thank you Mr. Governor and covet your continued support and assure you of my cooperation and collaboration for the good of our people.
“And for my colleagues, Distinguished Senators Moh’d Sani Musa and His Excellency, the immediate past Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, thank you for your understanding. God bless you always.
“Least I forget, my special appreciation goes to the Elites of Kin Nupe in diverse services. We belong to and hold divergent political views but settled on the need for upting the stake.
“Thus, beyond Party and other identities, we are Nupes and Nigerlites before any other thing, and I humbly plea for us to come together and work for the common good of our people.”
Sen. Jiya also lauded Senator Muhammed Bima Enagi for keeping faith in the pursuit of his inalienable right.
He said,” It could be either of us, but the three layers affirmation process confirmed my humble self for now. You have passed this way before and I sincerely crave your support. The good Lord bless you, your family and endeavours.
“Before I conclude, kindly permit me to appreciate in a special way, bands of Muslims and Christians alike, who took times to pray for this project. I am greatly indebted to all of you and thank you immensely.
“Also, he expressed appreciation to his Legal Team consisting of AK Kehinde SAN, Kudu Ndayako SAN and their colleagues for the good professional work done”
“Finaly, with the Court of Appeal’s affirmation on 27/10/23, I covet the prayers of All and Sundry, wise-counsel and encouragement each step of the way.
“Thank you Citizens and Residents of Niger South Senatorial District of Niger State & the good Lord bless us all.”
