NORTH CENTRAL ASKING FOR JUSTICE AND FAIRNESS AMONG IT’S PEERS.
The two most important positions in the executive is PRESIDENT and VICE PRESIDENT and has been taken by South West and North East.
The LEGISLATIVE ARM has two branches, SENATE AND HOUSE OF REPS; SOUTH SOUTH, NORTH WEST, NORTH WEST AND SOUTH EAST are by the zoning arrangement to take leadership of the two legislative chambers. The question here is why should North west get two positions when North Central is left out completely.
APC need to come out clean on what informed this decision, let me sight an instance; in the 10th Assembly, North East has the Senate President Seat and got the SGF position, meaning now that there is a hidden agenda against the North Central that all well meaning stakeholders of our zone must fight with every diplomatic power.
For the sake of the role we played in the just concluded National Assembly and Presidential election even if we did not merit a position among the top 6 positions i have mentioned above, our performance in bring the president elect Asiwaju should pave us a rear favour. But just like every other Geopolitical zone, we are deserving of a position among the top six.
With the instance sighted above, giving us Deputy Senate President will not in any away stop the SGF position some people are speculating that we will get.
Dear Bola Ahmed Tinubu, it is not late to right the wrongs. The people of North Central went the extra-mile for you sir, this is the time for you to stand by us and ensure that what is ours is given to us.
