FOUNDATION DONATES RELIEF MATERIALS TO ORPHANS IN NIGER
Corporate and philanthropic organisations in Niger state have been advised to donate generously towards providing soccur and relief to the orphans and less privileged persons in the society.
Chairman Rahama Foundation Captain Hassan Mohammed Baro stated this at the distribution of relief materials to orphans and less privileged in society in collaboration with Dr Umar Faruk Abdullahi Nupe Tafsir Organisation held in Bosso local government council.
Captain Hassan Mohammed Baro maintained that this had became imperative because according to him government alone cannot do it hence the need for collaborative effort to succeed.
The donation he said is an annual programme they undertake collectively to mark the end of Ramadan and enjoined wealthy individuals to donate part of their resources for the upkeep of orphans.
Captain Hassan Mohammed further said that the vision of the foundation is to uplift the spirit of orphans who were separated from their parents at the early age of their life’s.
According to him apart from given them relief materials,the foundation over the years has supported the kids on humaniterian services hence the need for people to donate to the foundation to enable it sustain the gesture stressing that government alone can not shoulder the responsibility of every citizen.
Also speaking, the founder,Nupe Tafsir Organization, Shiek,Dr Umar Faruk Abdullahi, commended all that have contributed to the success of the foundation,and called on others to emulate such gesture.
Iteams distributed include,food stuffs,clothes and unspecify amount of cash.
