Hon Umar Bago of APC declared winner of Niger state Guber election.
Hon Umar Muhammad Bago of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of Saturday’s governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday.
Hon Umar Bago secured a total of 469,896 votes against his main challengers Alhaji Isa Liman Kantigi of the People Democratic Party (PDP ) who polled 387,476 and Mr Joshua Bawa salka of the LP who got 3,415 votes.
INEC Returning officer, Professor Clement Arawa who announced the result said Hon Umar Mohammed Bago who scored the highest votes is hereby returned and declared the winner today the 20/3/2023.

Accredited voters: 899,488
