Chairman of Shiroro local government, Hon. Akilu Isyaku Kuta has sue for peaceful electoral conduct during and after elections in his local government area.
Akilu stated this after casting his vote at unguwan Yakubu polling unit in Kuta. during the Presidential and National Assembly election.
He said the election have been peaceful, with the electorates abiding by the rules of INEC officials and that he has not receive any complain or news of crisis in any part of his local government.
When asked about the IDPs in his dormay, he said ” the IDPs are being taking care of as they registered for their PVCs at central primary school Kuta and their already casting their votes peacefully. ”
The chairman however debunk the rumor of vote buying, stressing that he has not seen any agent paying anyone to vote for his or her candidate.
He therefore draw the attention of the youths to continue to be law abiding and not to cause any crisis as there is need to coexist peacefully in other to enjoy the dev divident of democracy.
