Fourth Batch of Niger State Pilgrims Departs Jeddah for Minna
The fourth batch of 424 Niger State pilgrims has left King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on its way to Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in Minna. This marks the continuation of the airlift of pilgrims returning home after the successful completion of the 2026 Hajj.
The pilgrims, from Bida, Rafi, Mokwa, Agaie, Bosso, Shiroro, and Lapai Local Government Areas, departed Jeddah around 9:41 a.m. Saudi Arabian time (7:41 a.m. Nigerian time).
They are expected to arrive at Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in Minna at about 3:21 p.m. Saudi Arabian time (1:21 p.m. Nigerian time).
Sheik Muhammad Awwal Aliyu, the Executive Secretary of the Board, who oversaw the departure at Jeddah Airport, wished the returning pilgrims a safe and pleasant journey home.
He also assured that adequate measures are in place to facilitate the timely return of the remaining batches of pilgrims and to ensure their safety, comfort, and welfare throughout the journey.
He reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to ensuring all Niger State pilgrims are safely and efficiently brought back to their respective destinations.
