June 12: A Call to Unity and Responsibility from the State Coordinator of Niger State Renewed Hope Ambassadors
As Nigerians observe Democracy Day on June 12, the State Coordinator of the Niger State Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Amb. Mohammed Nma Kolo, has urged citizens to uphold the values of unity, responsibility, forgiveness, and active civic engagement.
In a press statement released in Minna by Amb. Prince Innocent Kure, Director of Media and Publicity for the Niger State Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Amb. Kolo emphasized that June 12 serves as a powerful reminder that sovereignty resides with the people and that democracy flourishes when citizens actively participate in nation-building.
“June 12 reminds us that the power belongs to the people. As we mark this significant day, let us reaffirm our commitment to being responsible citizens. Let us listen more attentively, forgive more readily, and work together to build a stronger and more prosperous Niger State and Nigeria,” he stated.
The State Coordinator also highlighted the vital role of citizen participation in the democratic process, underscoring that every voice and vote are crucial.
“Your voice is impactful. Your vote is invaluable. Hope remains justified. Let us believe in the ideals of our democracy and strive collectively toward a brighter future for all,” he added.
Amb. Kolo concluded with prayers for ongoing peace, progress, and development in Niger State and across Nigeria.
“May God bless Niger State, and may He bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he prayed.
