Gyang Zi promises to address insecurity effectively “if given the chance.’

An aspirant for the Plateau North Senatorial District under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Barr. Gyang Zi, SAN, has vowed to prioritize security if permitted to serve.
He praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign group for his endorsement and for empowering persons with disabilities as a positive gesture.
Speaking to journalists after the event at the Eliel Center in Jos South LGA, Gyang Zi expressed satisfaction with the turnout of APC supporters across all 36 states, including the FCT, Abuja.
He called on the Nigerian electorate to support the administration in building national unity.
“You can see they are already helping others. They called on widows and persons with disabilities and gave them gifts. It is out of love and the passion to ensure that this state and Nigeria grow,” he said.
“By the grace of God, today it is sealed. Governor Manasseh Caleb Mutfwang is endorsed for 2027. This body also endorses President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are in full support and proud of what the governor and the president have been doing so far.”
Acknowledging existing challenges, he added, “We know there are challenges, but they are surmountable. That’s why we need to support them — without our support, they will not have the conducive environment to continue to work for us as a nation.”
On his senatorial ambition amid insecurity in Plateau, Zi was emphatic: “That is the reason why I am coming out. I am a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. Just have the assurance that by the grace of God, the solutions are here. We are going to make sure that we nip all these challenges in the bud.”
Beyond the political endorsements, the Renewed Hope Advocates also reached out to vulnerable groups. Plateau State Government has filed charges against five suspects arrested by the DSS in connection with the March 2026 killings of several persons in Angwan Rukuba, Jos North LGA of Plateau State.
