Niger State Governor Bago Meets with Bureau of Public Enterprises Chief to Strengthen Partnership
Niger State governor and farmer, Mohammed Umaru Bago, met with Ayodeji Ariyo Gbeleyi, Director-General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), at his Abuja office to reinforce collaborative efforts.
The discussion centered on improving the relationship between both entities and exploring ways to boost the state’s development through public-private partnerships.
Governor Bago, expressing satisfaction with the DG’s ability to meet organizational goals, reaffirmed Niger State’s plan to leverage BPE’s expertise for progress.
Gbeleyi appreciated the governor’s vision for Niger State’s growth and assured BPE’s commitment to providing guidance and advice whenever needed.
The BPE serves as the technical arm of the National Council on Privatisation, established under the Public Enterprise and Commercialisation Act of 1999, to oversee Nigeria’s privatization and commercialization policies.
