The gold fish here is Distinguished Senator Jonah David Jang, popularly known in political circle as Dara Jonah Jang . As a Nigerian, who has lived in Plateau state, even as I can’t remember ever meeting him in person, or would ever meet the indefatigable Senator Jang, at the 80th anniversary celebration, but his presence looms large in the political space.
He pulled out a large crowds of political associates , friends and family to his Du resident blaring with speakers and music interlude entertaining with beautiful garden richly blessed with south Africa Mandela space to welcome visitors.
I see in Senator Jang , leadership capacity, with some national outlook, foresight, and clearly an expression of an awesome vision, bordering on serving beyond his immediate Plateau State but extending to humanity at large.
Jonah David Jang was (born 13, March 1944) is a former Nigerian military officer and politician who served as the senator representing the Plateau North senatorial district from 2015 to 2019.
He previously served as the governor of Plateau State from 2007 to 2015, and as military governor of Benue and Gongola States.

In 2015, Jang ran and won the Plateau North senatorial district seat as his term as governor drew to a close.
In 2018, Jang declared his senate seat vacant and said it was time for the people of Plateau North to decide who would represent them at the red chamber.
Jang was at the time making nocturnal political consultations to run for the presidential ticket of the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2019 presidential election.
I extent of writing about him. To be candid, I am equally not surprised too but as the saying goes, a gold fish has not hiding place. Besides, his track record is capable of sweeping anyone off his feet, me inclusive, and that was the motivation that led me to pen this piece.
Having said that, may I, before dwelling on his epoch-making developmental efforts across the three Senatorial districts , hasten to say that the Distinguished Senator Jang is evidently a person of humility, self-esteem, charisma and of transparent background.
He exhibits sterling leadership qualities which are appreciated by Plateau people . Also, he is seen to be approachable and large hearted.
It is a matter of delight watching him going round his vast constituencies to have a full grasp of their aspirations and he achieved by addressing the needs of citizens accordingly.
Sen.Jang during service comfortably performs both roles creditably, promising amazing enduring array of accomplishments to his faithful and supportive to Plateau people.
The capacity to take both in his strides, speak volumes about what Senator Jonah David Jang , is as a devoted servant of his people. He said it himself, while serving as the governor some development projects, that, “I will never be apologetic to anyone that he continued to execute development projects ”.
Senator Jang made a significant impact during his tenure as the Governor and National Assembly, particularly . His contributions reflect his dedication to legislative prowess , advocacy for his constituents, and promotion of national development.
The Distinguished Lawmaker is a person of humble background, huge means, and sterling leadership qualities, which continue to stand him out all along, and widely appreciated for his approachability, large-heartedness, fairness and altruism.
His contributions reflect his dedication to repositioning Nigeria excellence, advocacy for promoting minority groups , and promotion of national development.
