NUT Niger State Wing Urges Teachers to Participate Fully in the Education Personnel Management Information System (EPMIS) Registration
The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Niger State Wing, wishes to inform and strongly urge all teachers and education personnel across the state to promptly complete the ongoing Education Personnel Management Information System (EPMIS) initiated by the state government.
The Education Personnel Management Information System (EPMIS) is a digital platform created by a public sector consultant engaged by the Niger State Government to conduct a comprehensive audit of all teachers and non-academic staff across the twenty-five (25) Local Government Areas of Niger State.
The initiative is part of the state government’s efforts to restructure and modernize the management of education personnel, ensure accurate and reliable staff records, eliminate irregularities in the system, and promote transparency in the administration of the education sector.
The project is also designed to revolutionize education workforce management, improve teacher welfare, and strengthen the foundation of a more effective and sound education system in Niger State.
The Nigeria Union of Teachers therefore strongly advises all teachers and non-academic staff to take this exercise seriously by filling out and submitting the required information on the EPMIS web portal link: epmis.tensng.com within the stipulated time.
Members are hereby informed that failure to complete the required form may result in serious consequences, including possible disengagement from service by the state government, as the exercise is intended to verify and authenticate the status of all personnel within the education sector.
The Union therefore calls on all teachers to cooperate fully with the process and ensure that the information provided is accurate and timely.
The NUT Niger State Wing remains committed to protecting the welfare and professional interests of teachers while supporting policies and reforms that will strengthen the education sector in the state.
