Deputy Speaker Visits Marvelous Foundation, A Care Center for Orphans
Hon. Afiniki Eunice Dauda, who also serves as the Chairman of the House Standing Committee on Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services, made an unannounced visit to the Marvelous Foundation, an orphan care center located in Birji, opposite Talba Farm, along the Building Material Market on Sauka-Kahuta Road in Minna.
The purpose of this visit was to assess the standards and quality of care provided at the orphanage.
Accompanied by members of her committee, the Deputy Speaker interacted with both the children and the staff, expressing appreciation for their dedication and support for the orphans.
In response, Mrs. Janto Adams, the founder and Matron of the Marvelous Foundation, expressed her gratitude to the Deputy Speaker and her team for their surprise visit.
She shared that the orphanage has been operational for over 14 years, providing shelter, care, and education to orphaned and vulnerable children within the community.
Mrs. Adams also expressed her eagerness to collaborate with the government to further improve the welfare of the children and enhance the services provided by the orphanage.
