Bauchi Gov Appoints Ex NUJ Deputy President As Permanent Secretary

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has approved the appointment of former NUJ Deputy President and 6 others as new Permanent Secretaries in the state Civil Service.c
Acording to a statement issued yesterday by the Information Officer, office of the Head of Service,
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment of his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado and Six others asked Permanent Secretaries into the State Civil Service.
According to the statement, the Information Officer, Hashimu Umar Bulkachuwa stated that the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade Muktar Gidado and six others were appointed based on their track records in the state service.
He explained that those elevated from Directors to the position of Permanent Secretaries are Muhammad Nasir Usman – Bauchi Local Government Area, Abubakar Garba Adamu, Darazo Local Government Area, Yusuf Adamu and Yakubu Ahmed from Ganjuwa Local Government Area respectively
Others are Adamu Aliyu Abdullahi – Katagum Local Government Area, Ahmed Ahmed – Toro Local Government Area and Mukhtar Gidado – Alkaleri Local Government Area.
He stated that the appointment is aimed at enhancing efficiency and quality of the civil service for improved service delivery.
Bala Mohammed urged the appointees to redouble their efforts and uphold the trust placed in them by delivering effective and accountable service to the people of Bauchi State.
Before his elevation to the position of Permanent Secretary, Mukhtar Gidado was a Director Broadcast in the State Ministry of Information and Communication.
