Farmer Governor Umaru Bago Condoles with NUJ Niger State Council over the Loss of Member Elder Saka.
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, expresses his condolences to Comrade Abu Nmodu, Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Niger State Council, following the death of Elder Saka Bolaji, a member of the union and Correspondent for the Daily Times/Standard Newspapers in the state.
In a condolence message delivered by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago expressed that it is indeed a sad day for NUJ members in Niger State.
He reflected on how the late Elder Saka contributed to the development of the state through his journalistic writings.
While extending his sympathies to the NUJ leadership, its members, and the family of the deceased, Governor Bago encouraged them to find solace in the fact that Elder Saka lived an impactful and fulfilling life.
He prayed that Allah grants the deceased a place in Aljannah Firdausi and comforts all those affected by this loss.
The Governor also reassured the NUJ of his administration’s commitment to strengthening the existing cordial relationship with the union to further the greatness of the state.
