Niger State Youth Endorse Ambassador Abdullahi Muhammad Ishaq as Sole Candidate for NYCN Presidency.

In a significant move aimed at strengthening youth leadership in Niger State, the Niger State chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has officially endorsed Ambassador Abdullahi Muhammad Ishaq as its sole candidate for the upcoming NYCN Presidential election scheduled for October 7, 2025.
The endorsement was announced in a statement signed by Comrade Hamza Mohammed Tatiko, the State Publicity Secretary of NYCN. This announcement was made available to the Nigeria Daily Post correspondent and followed a crucial stakeholders’ meeting where leaders and representatives from various youth factions gathered to reach a consensus on the presidential aspirants.
Initially, two candidates had declared their interest: Ambassador Abdullahi Muhammad Ishaq and Comrade Mohammed Mohammed Alhaji. After thorough discussions, both aspirants agreed to a unanimous decision that designated Ambassador Ishaq as the consensus candidate.
The forum not only addressed the presidential candidacy but also engaged in productive discussions about the future of youth development within Niger State and beyond. Attendees expressed their commitment to fostering unity and collaboration, urging all Nigerlites to rally behind Ambassador Ishaq as the NYCN prepares for the pivotal national congress.
Comrade Hamza Mohammed Tatiko reinforced the call for collective support, emphasizing the critical role that youth engagement will play in shaping the future of the Council and the state.
