Fuel Station Manager Among Four Arrested in Armed Robbery Crackdown.
From Our Correspondent.
The Lagos Police Command has apprehended four individuals, including the manager of a fuel station, suspected of involvement in a series of armed robberies in the state.
The suspects—Noble Saint Neokoro (44), Batomie Samson (48), Abubakar Ali (47), and Bitrus Ibrahim (42)—were arrested in the Ejigbo area following a thorough investigation triggered by a tip-off.
According to police sources, the filling station owner was not aware of the alleged criminal activities linked to his employees.
Police spokesperson Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the developments, stating that the Tactical Squad Hawk led the operation. He noted that the arrests follow the previous capture of a notorious gang involved in hijacking fuel and goods trucks within the state.
Hundeyin emphasized the importance of community cooperation in these efforts, encouraging citizens to continue providing timely information to assist the police in maintaining security. The arrested suspects are expected to face charges in court following the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
