Important Notice for Pensioners in Niger State on AM ALIVE Verification Exercise.

By Our Reporter.

Pensioners in Niger State who have not yet completed their AM ALIVE verification are hereby notified that the deadline to do so is Monday, 27th January 2025.

Failure to complete this verification process may result in the forfeiture of monthly pension payments by the Niger State government.

The Director General of the Niger State Pension Board, Nasiru Said Namaska has issued a statement emphasizing that any pensioner who does not complete the AM ALIVE verification will be classified as a “ghost pensioner” and will no longer be included in the monthly pension disbursements.

This verification exercise is crucial for pensioners to ensure their continued receipt of monthly benefits.

The verification will be valid for six months, during which the same evaluation will take place.

The purpose of this initiative, according to the Director General Namaska is to enhance the State Pension system, thereby allowing the government to improve monthly pension payments for all retirees.

Pensioners are strongly encouraged to verify their status to avoid any disruptions in their pension benefits.
