The member representing Lavun in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon Jibrin Ndagi Babbah, said he is not bogged by a series of request sets by the people of his constituency as it is part of his sole responsibility to ensure dividends of democracy spread to his constituencies.

Jibrin Ndagi Babbah, who was formerly the Deputy speaker of the state house of assembly during the 9th assembly, said politics is all about give and take, which every politician worth his salt should be seen doing by providing social amenities to electorates to better their wellbeing.

The member representing Lavun local government under the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, further stated that representing people at any level of governance is a halogen task that every politician must cherish, devoid of any sentiment.

Projects inspected include water and electrification. At Emi-laden under Busu Ward, the local government inspected the drilling of boreholes and installed water tanks to ensure that the community had access to potable drinking water.

Ndagi Babbah also visited the Gbangbagi electrification project. The contract, awarded by the immediate administration in 2016, has not been completed due to damages to two poles at the substation while streaming the branch of a tree, in addition to the liking of transformer oil, which will cost over one million Naira.

According to the member at Gbangbagi,” I can only provide the two poles and fix back the aluminum cables and promised to ensure that the contractor restores the transformer oil to enable the community to enjoy electricity.

Also, at Jinchita and Kochitagi community, Ndagi Babbah commission’s electrification project to the community in his appreciation to the people of the community for their support, he donated a brand-new generator to the Tsadu Nkochi central mosque to facilitate their worship.

The member, however, disclosed that he is not bothered about the series of requests, either financially or in terms of the provision of social amenities, as he is permanently moved to do more.

The Member also used the period to attend the fifth Lavun Youth Congress forum held at the Bologi Events Center. Bida informed the discussion of various programs for youth to be gainfully employed by Governor Umar Bago’s administration.

Ndagi Babbah also, during the inspection of the projects, paid condolence visits to some of the constituent members who lost their loved ones, At Bida, Giwa, Babbah, Ninwoye, and Kutigi community
