Gov Bago Inspects Ongoing Projects Across Zone 'B' to Remodel Kagara General Hospital.

Gov Bago Inspects Ongoing Projects Across Zone ‘B’ to Remodel Kagara General Hospital.

Niger State government is to award the contract for the remodeling of Kagara General Hospital in Rafi Local Government Area of the State.

The Farmer Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, disclosed this when he visited Kagara, the headquarters of Rafi local government, in continuation of his Statewide project monitoring tour.

He said the contract would be awarded soon, and work would commence in earnest.

The farmer Governor explained that after the remodeling, the students from the Rafi local government area who studied medical-related courses would be deployed to the Hospital to improve service delivery.

He said Day Schools in the local government will be renovated. At the same time, Students in Boarding Schools will be transferred to other safer Boarding Schools, considering the activities of bandits in the area.

The former Governor also revealed that the 10 km road project initiated by the last administration would be handed over to the present company handling the 5 km road project in the local government headquarters for effective and speedy completion.

While applauding the people of Rafi local government for complimenting his agricultural policies, the farmer Governor said before the end of the year, one million trailer loads of food will be harvested across the State.

The Emir of Kagara, Garba Ahmed Gunna Attahiru II, said the achievements of the Farmer Governor in Kagara are unprecedented.

He assured him that the Emirate would continue to support his Agricultural agenda.

He also commended the stride of the Farmer Governor in curtailing insecurity, pointing out that the effort has helped the people of the Emirate to farm and harvest enormous tons of food.

The member representing Shiroro/Rafi/Munya Federal Constituency, Isah Modibbo, and the Chairman of Rafi Local Government Council, Usman Ayuba Katako, in their separate remarks, appreciated the tireless efforts of Farmer Governor Umaru Bago to improve the State and called for all and sundry to rally round him to succeed.

The farmer Governor was in Wushishi Local Government Area to inspect the ongoing 5 km road project where he commended the quality of work done so far.
He assured the people that the 90 km Bida-Zungeru road project would be sped up to ease movement on the road.

The Farmer Governor acknowledged the love and support the people of Wushishi have been extending to his administration and reassured them of improvement in the provision of water, electricity, healthcare, and security.

The District Head of Wushishi, Alh. Shehu Ibrahim Abubakar Wushishi appreciated the farmer Governor for all his people-oriented projects, which have greatly improved the people’s livelihoods, and assured him of their continued support.

In their separate remarks, the Lawmaker representing Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu federal Constituency, Abdullahi Idris Garba, member representing Wushishi at the State House of Assembly, Aliyu Sheshi, and the Chairman, Wushishi Local Government Council, Mohammed Kpoti Yelwa, commended Farmer Governor Umaru Bago for the road projects being executed across the State and solicited more support for him to succeed.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago was also at the Groundnut Processing Mill of the Nigeria for Women Project, a World Bank-supported project, where he assured the women of adequate support.
