PRESS CONFERENCE IN APPRECIATION OF PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU ON THE APPOINTMENT OF BELLO MUHAMMAD GORONYO ESQ. AS MINISTER OF STATE FOR WORKS AND MUHAMMADU MAIGARI DINGYADI AS MINISTER OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT, AND TO PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE IN PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU’S ADMINISTRATION.
I welcome you all to this important press briefing, which aims to express our profound gratitude to God Almighty for allowing us to witness this moment of joy, happiness, and fulfillment, especially through our dedicated and patriotic leaders.
First, I would like to commend and appreciate our relentless democratic leaders at both the state and national levels for their foresight, dedication, commitment, and, above all, their love and concern for the electorate.
I especially want to acknowledge Mr. President, SEN. ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, for his unwavering commitment and unmatched concern for the people of Sokoto State, who have consistently supported his administration.
Today, the good people of Sokoto State, particularly the youth, are here to express their gratitude to Mr. President for appointing two distinguished sons of Sokoto State—Bello Muhammad Goronyo Esq. and Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi—as Ministers of State for Works and Labour and Employment, respectively.
There is no doubt that Mr. President has demonstrated his genuine concern for the people of Sokoto State, and we are proud to have him as our leader.
At this juncture, on behalf of the people of Sokoto State, especially the youth from various groups, I would like to pass a vote of confidence in Mr. President, SEN. ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We commend his commitment to inclusive leadership and his open-door policy of listening to the aspirations of the electorate.
We also wish to reiterate our unwavering support and loyalty to the dedicated leadership of our President, SEN. BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR, His Excellency, Gov. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, PhD, FCNA, ACIT, and our esteemed mentor and leader of Sokoto State politics, Distinguished Senator Dr. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto, Senator representing Sokoto Central Senatorial Zone.
In conclusion, we will remain committed to promoting the numerous achievements in projects and programs that have positively impacted the lives of the people across Sokoto State, as demonstrated by Gov. Dr. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto and at the federal level by President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
