Gov. Bago calls for unity among APC Stakeholders in Bida LGA
Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has called for unity among All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Bida local government area to bring about growth and development in the area.
The farmer governor made the call during an APC stakeholders meeting held in Bida.
He explained that unity among stakeholders would enable them to carry out ward development projects, thereby engendering development in the area.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago assured that all ongoing projects across the state will be completed and more will be embarked upon.
He used the forum to enjoin all appointed and elected office holders from Bida, as well as political office holders to step up in delivering dividends of democracy to the people, adding that doing so would ensure their re-appointment and re-election.
The farmer Governor also advised the party executives to work hard to uphold the party, ensure discipline and always call for meetings to discuss the way forward for Bida Local Government.
In his remarks, the APC Zonal Chairman, Alh. Ahmed Shuaibu, appreciated the Governor for his commitment to ensuring that development at the grassroots and State capital across all the sectors.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Bida Local Government Council , Alh. Bala Shaba commended the Governor for ensuring discipline in the party, emphasising that the party has become stronger at the local government level.
Representatives of Women, Youth and elders among others also took turns to applaud the Bago-led administration for executing projects that have direct bearing on the citizens.
