Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has signed into law, a bill to provide for the establishment of the Niger State Agency for Green Initiatives and Other Related Matters.
The farmer Governor signed the bill into law at the Niger State Liaison officer in Abuja.
The Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Barr. Nasir Mu’azu while speaking to newsmen, explained that the bill is to harness the present administration’s agenda for all the green initiatives in the state.
The signing of the bill into law was witnessed by the Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Barr. Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji, the Secretary to the State Government, Alh. Abubakar Usman, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Alh. Sadiq Yusuf Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General, Barr. Nasir Mu’azu and other top government officials.
