Tinubu, Bago pragmatic, visionary, focused – Coordinator

By Mohammed Baba Busu

Amb. Abdulkareem, the National Coordinator,  Renewed Hope for Better Nigeria, says President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Umar Bago of Niger, have displayed pragmatic, visionary and focused leadership in governance within the last one year.

Speaking during a gratitude and prayer programme for the actualisation of the Renewed Hope Agenda on Tuesday in Minna, Abdulkareem said that the deliberate policies embarked upon by the administrations of President Tinubu and Gov. Bago, had transformed critical sectors of the economy.

She said both leaders have demonstrated steering qualities since assuming office on May 29, 2023.

She scored the All Progressives Congress (APC) at both National and state levels high in the areas of infrastructure development, agriculture revolution and human capital development through their polices and programme.

“There is no gainsaying that Nigeria and Niger state is fortunate at the moment to have leaders that are pragmatic, visionary and focused to deliver on their mandates.

“These are done through their deliberate and people-oriented policies and programmes to change the socioeconomic status of the people especially, the youths, since inception of this administration.

“This informed our decision to come out in our numbers today, to show our solidarity in their unwavering commitment to nation building,” she said.

Abdulkareem also called on Nigerians to continue to support both President Tinubu and Gov Bago in their continued efforts to transform the lives of the people.

She commended the convener of Renewed Hope for Nigeria, Mr Seyi Tinubu for his empathy and magnanimity adding, ” These virtues stands you out at all times.”

In their separate remarks, the Chief Imam of Wasagi, Alh. Hassan Wasagi and Evangelist Daniel Habila-Diko commended the unprecedented performance of Gov. Bago’s administration in Niger state and Tinubu.

They appealed to Nigerians to desist from unnecessary criticism but to be patient and tolerant  with the present administration at both state and federal levels for better future of Nigeria.

The duo prayed for the peace, stability and better economy of the country.

Also speaking, Alh. Nma Kolo, Special Adviser to Gov Bago on Political Affairs, enumerated some of the achievements recorded so far by Bago’s massive transformation in all sectors of the economy.

Kolo, represented, Mr Emmanuel Makun, applauded the the efforts of the association and called for sustained prayers for the leaders and the nation at large.(NAN)
