Federal Lawmaker donates over N600, 000.00 to Assemblies of God Church Minna.

The federal Law maker in the House of Representive representing oju/ obi federal constituency of Benue state at the  National Assembly ,Hon David Agada Ogewu has donated the sum of six hundred and Eighty thousand naira  ( #6 80,000,00) to Assemblies of God church    ( AGC)Kpankugu  Minna and the women widow in the Church.

The break down of the money according to Nigeria Daily post however revealed that 500,000,000 00 went to the church while #80,000,00 was for  the widows  who are eight in  number   as their assistance while his wife mrs Jessica ogewu  gave   the sum of one hundred thousand naira to all the children in the church to be shared .

He  however urged the beneficiaries of the little token  especially the widows to accept  the offer in good faith believing that  it will help them to solve some of their immediate needs

Hon Ogewu who  announced the donation while speaking  during a church service held on sunday at the church auditorium said the  money was to support the church building project which is ongoing

He also disclosed that  each of the widow will get a token sum of # 10,000,00 naira each saying that his support to both the church and the widows was  in fulfillment of the convevant  he made with God during his  electioneering campaign.

Hon  Ogewu  however disclosed further that Assemblies of God (AGC)  Kpankugu is part of his constituency pointing out that  the church  was where he married and has his children dedicated therefore he is part and parcel of the church hence the need to support the church and its members.

Hon David Ogewu who hails from Ameka.owo in oju local Government Area of Benue state said that development of  Igede land as well as assisting the down trodden  is his prority and urged the people of his constituency residing in any part of the country to continue praying for  his success so as to over come the power of  the enemies who did not want Igede land to be developed.

He   observed that the wickedness of the people of  Igede have hampered the development of oju/ obi local Government Area of Benue state over the years  saying the Area was long over neglected by the past administrations both the state government and the past members representing  his constituency in the House of Representative who were there  without making any effort to attract  any projects  from the federal Government to the area but   making money  and  refused to developed the local government  as well as  to serve the people of the constituency  well adding that with him the story of Igede narrative will change for better with God on his side henceforth.

The federal  law maker also called on members of Assemblies of God church Kpankugu Minna where he belong to continued praying for  him and the  president of Nigeria, Ahmed Bola Tinubu ,Benue state Governor and his members of the family  for them   to succeed in  piloting the affairs of the country noting that  some of their polices are hard to bear for now but the  hardship experienced by Nigerians  presently are temporary adding that there are serious battle  in  governance and with prayers there is hope for Nigerians in the nearest future

The Hon member representing oju/ obi federal constituency of Benue state at the Lower chamber maintained that every power of darkness   fighting him in Igede land will be demolished  and be disgraced saying that even the traditional rulers in Igede are not left behind in  the fight against him and vowed to leave no stone unturned to pull them down  using Bible as his weapon to fight for  a good course for the people of Igede since he has a stamp of authority to serve the people of his constituency while in the House assuring them of even development  of the Constituency under him

He however admonished all the Igede people residing in Niger state to start working on how to transfer their voters card down home to make sure that their PVC  are captured in their various wards before 2027 General Election stressing that the year 2027 conduct of election will take a different demension as there will be no business as usual in all the elections to be conducted by INEC
He said  the call was  necessary and imperative  to enable all the eligible voters to cast their vote for the right person that will take  the country  and both the state and Igede land from darkness to next level.

It could be recalled that  the law maker  was in Minna on Friday to witnessed the wedding ofChukwu Emeka john and sister Elizabeth Ibu which took place at  the church on Saturday ,27 th April,2024 while the Thanksgiving ceremony of the  wedded couples was held  on Sunday during the church service
