Niger State House of Assembly Passes Vote of Confidence on  Gov. Umar Bago.

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago says the vote of confidence passed on him by the Niger State House of Assembly is a call on his administration to redouble its efforts in the provision of dividends of democracy to its citizens.

The Farmer Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba at the House of Assembly Complex in Minna said his administration will not take the confidence for granted while he used the medium to thank the Speaker and other members of the Legislature for their support in ensuring the success of his administration .

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago said nothing would have been able to be achieved without the cooperation of the Legislature and Judicial arm of government and called for sustained relationship between the three arms of government .

He acknowledged that they have been instrumental in achievements attained in all sectors of governance while assuring that his administration will do everything humanly possible to add value to the people.

The Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, AbdulMalik Sarkin Daji said Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has done remarkably well and assured him of the Assembly’s continued support in realizing his aspirations for Nigerlites explaining that, the State Assembly is convinced with his achievements so far.

The Deputy Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly Afiniki Dauda in her remarks described Farmer Governor Umaru Bago as a dogged and dedicated leader who has shown exemplary leadership style and commended him for including women in governance.

Member representing Munya Constituency under PDP platform, Joseph Haruna Duza described Bago as a selfless leader who carries everybody along regardless of party affiliation and reiterated that members of the House will support him in his transformation agenda.

Member representing Tafa Constituency Muhammad Sani Idris was the mover of the motion to pass vote of confidence on Farmer Governor Umaru Bago and was subsequently supported by other members.
